What a great place. If you have never tried this place, you have to. The cakes are soft but delicious. The frosting is soft, creamy, not too sweet, and delicious. This is now our goto for all occasions!!! Highly recommended!

Went to a party last night in SDC that had 2 of Kona’s Kakes. Immediately I noticed the presentation. The cakes were large and beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. They were two different flavors. I’m not sure which, but by the description I think one was carmel macadamia. Not chintzy on the macadamia I might add. They both tasted amazing, super fresh and not too sweet. There was no “commercial” taste to the cakes, which I appreciated. They were so delicious and impressive I asked the hostess where she got them. Apparently I was not alone. Several guests inquired about the bakery. Our next event will include a Kona Kake..
